Cacharel Amor Amor For Women Eau de Toilette
Amor Amor arrived in 2003 and carries two signatures that explain a good deal of how it holds together: Laurent Bruyère and Dominique Ropion, the latter among the most respected perfumers of his generation. That is what separates Amor Amor from the wave of sweet fruity florals that followed it — the structure holds, even under the sugar. Take care not to confuse it with the Amor Amor eau de parfum released in 2024: this page is the original eau de toilette, the one most people have in mind.
The opening is direct and mouthwatering, blackcurrant and citrus together — orange, mandarin, grapefruit, bergamot — in a burst that does not last long but registers. The heart softens into the floral: rose, jasmine, lily of the valley and lily, with a touch of apricot extending the fruit without candying it. The base finally turns warm and powdery, vanilla, tonka bean, musk, amber and cedar, and this is where the fragrance truly settles on skin. Intensity stays moderate: this is an everyday fruity floral, not a sillage bomb.
Best for
Everyday wear, outings, dates, evenings without protocol. It works from spring through winter and suits anyone after a cheerful rather than serious fragrance: the reading is young, romantic and uncomplicated. Among fruity floral fragrances, it is one of very few from its generation still in the catalogue more than twenty years on, which says a good deal about how widely it lands.
Why choose Cacharel Amor Amor?
Because it is recognisable. A whole generation associates that blackcurrant-citrus opening with the early 2000s, and the fragrance has not been redrawn since to chase a trend. We carry it as a 100 ml spray and in gift sets, alongside the rest of the Cacharel selection. If you are weighing several eau de toilette fragrances for women, this one remains the safest of the fruity choices.

What does "splash" mean for a product?
If a perfume is labeled "splash," it means it's designed to be applied without a spray mechanism. Most perfumes are made with a spray nozzle because this allows them to last longer by limiting their exposure to air. Ultimately, choosing between a spray or splash bottle comes down to personal preference.

What is the difference between an eau de toilette and an eau de parfum?
Perfumes differ in their concentration of oils; an eau de parfum has a higher concentration than an eau de toilette, resulting in a longer-lasting fragrance. Pure perfume has the highest concentration, while eau de Cologne has the lowest.
What is "vintage"?
What is "vintage"?
"Vintage" perfumes are older formulations of fragrances that may have been reformulated over time. Companies choose to reformulate a perfume for various reasons, such as regulatory changes, consumer preferences, a shortage of a particular ingredient, or to improve the perfume's performance or reduce its production cost.
