Return Policy

We take steps to better serve and protect you, as well as our team. Each ordered product is placed in a protective, sealed, and transparent bag before being shipped. If this seal is broken, the merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged. Please inspect the merchandise before breaking the seal.

If you have changed your mind and wish to return an item that is still in its protective packaging, unopened and unaltered, you must contact us within 10 days of receiving your order to request the return of the merchandise. Please send us an email at info@leparfumier.ca to submit your return request. Once the request is submitted and confirmed, you will need to bring the package to a Canada Post office near you within 30 days of receiving your order. Once the item is returned intact in its protective packaging and inspected, a refund will be issued, less the shipping costs for the product and its return, as well as a $10 fee.

All orders shipped outside Canada (United States and the rest of the world) must purchase their own return label, as none will be provided. A valid tracking number must be provided to us.

All gift sets are final sale and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Once the order is received, please examine the product before opening the seal. We double and triple check all products and orders. However, if we sent you the wrong item and/or if the item you received is defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@leparfumier.ca so that we can assess the situation and find the best solution for you. In this case, the merchandise may be exchanged or returned for a full refund if the product we sent you is returned to us with all its parts, including its packaging, has not been altered, and is returned to us in the condition in which it was received, with the sole exception that it may have been lightly used. Once the merchandise is received and inspected and the problem confirmed, you will receive an exchange or a full refund. If an item is not returned under the mentioned conditions, or if an item is not defective, that item cannot be fully refunded. An item cannot be returned if it has been reformulated by the designer or if your preferences and/or your skin’s pH have changed and the product is as it should be. If the item is inspected and this is the case, you will not be eligible for a full refund.

Perfume designers often reformulate a fragrance without notice for many reasons. If the packaging of your perfume has changed and/or if you are unsure whether your perfume has been reformulated, it is recommended to do some research or contact us if you have questions about the perfume before purchasing the item. If you want a specific batch number, packaging, or formulation, please contact us to confirm before or as soon as the order is placed to ensure you will receive the exact formulation you want. We are not responsible if a designer reformulates a perfume, and you will not be eligible for a full return in that case.

Our preferences and the pH levels of our skin often change for many reasons such as aging, a change in diet/lifestyle, hormonal changes, stress, medication, menopause, pregnancy, etc. A change in our body can alter how we perceive certain scents, how they smell on our skin, and their lasting power. If the inspected merchandise is intact and this is the case, you will not be eligible for a full refund.

Shipping fees are non-refundable for undelivered, unclaimed, or returned parcels, except if we have made an error.

Some deliveries in Canada may be made at the doorstep. In some cases, the carrier may provide a photo confirming the delivery of the parcel to the address given at the time of order.
When this proof of delivery is available and the parcel has been delivered to the address provided by the customer, the responsibility for the parcel lies with the customer, as the delivery was made according to the information provided at the time of purchase.

Parcels shipped with Canada Post may be delivered:

- at the door,

- in a community mailbox,

- or at the post office nearest the delivery address.

In some cases, a delivery notice card may be left at the door or in the community mailbox to indicate the exact place where the parcel can be picked up. This information is also available online when checking the tracking number.

When the parcel is held at the post office, it is the customer’s responsibility to pick it up within the time limits set by Canada Post. Any unclaimed parcel returned to the sender may incur additional fees, and the initial shipping fees are non-refundable.
